2025 Bloom Awards

"The earth laughs in flowers" is a popular quote attributed to Ralph Waldo Emerson. It's a poetic way of expressing the joy and beauty that flowers bring to the world, suggesting that nature itself is expressing happiness through the vibrant colors and forms of blossoms.

It's true that flowers bring people together in a special way, and it's always a joy to celebrate those in our community who work hard in the spring for the blooms we enjoy all summer long.

This year, we decided to honor winners in a new way, hosting our very first Evening Soirée & Carthage in Bloom Awards. Guests enjoyed "flowers after hours" in Central Park, taking in art, live music, and elegant sips under the twinkle of hundreds of stringed lights. This magical night led up to the coveted Bloom Awards where 3 winners from each of the 5 wards in Carthage were recognized. We also had 4 winners in our community category.

We look forward to seeing what our talented local green thumbs come up with next year!
