Join us for a free home repair workshop designed to empower and educate members of our community with essential home maintenance and repair skills. This instructive course is open to all skill levels—whether you're a first-time homeowner, a long-time resident, or someone simply interested in learning how to care for your home.
Led by experienced professionals with the Economic Security Corporation, the workshop will cover a range of topics including basic repairs and home maintenance, replacing rotten wood, weatherproofing, and how to use common tools properly. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from these experts and ask questions specific to their home repair needs.
In addition to practical instruction, attendees will receive information about local assistance programs for ongoing home improvement support and tools available for checkout at the Carthage Public Library. Light refreshments will also be provided.
